Documents

The Documents module provides centralized file storage for your business. Upload, organize, and retrieve documents from one place.


Uploading Documents

  1. Navigate to Documents in the sidebar
  2. Click Upload or drag and drop files into the upload area
  3. Supported formats: PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, JPG, PNG, and more
  4. Files are stored securely and linked to your tenant account

Organizing Documents

Folders

  • Create folders to categorize documents (e.g., "Client Contracts", "Visa Applications", "Trade Licenses")
  • Move files between folders as needed

Tagging

  • Add tags to documents for easy searching
  • Common tags: client name, free zone, document type

Searching Documents

  • Use the search bar within the Documents page to find files by name or tag
  • The global search (⌘ + K) also includes document results

Linking Documents to Leads

  • Attach relevant documents directly to a lead's profile
  • When viewing a lead, see all associated documents in one place
  • This keeps everything organized per client

Security

  • Documents are stored with tenant isolation — each company only sees their own files
  • In production, files are stored in Supabase Storage with secure signed URLs
  • Access is controlled through your account's authentication

Tips

  • Upload all relevant documents when creating a new lead — it saves time later
  • Use consistent naming conventions (e.g., ClientName_PassportCopy.pdf)
  • The AI Assistant can reference uploaded free zone documents when answering questions
